Abstract

The number of guests staying at star hotels fell 4.69 percent, from 23,561 people (August 2019) to 22,455 people (September 2019). However, the number of guests staying at non-star hotels rose 29.23 percent, from 45,068 people (August 2019) to 58,242 people (September 2019).

Cumulatively, the number of guests staying at star hotels rose 3.08 percent, from 202,925 people (January-September 2018) to 209,185 people (January-September 2019). In contrast, the number of guests at non-star hotels fell 9.24 percent, from 543,195 people (January-September 2018) to 493,005 people (January-September 2019).

The room occupancy rate (TPK) of star hotels fell 1.67 points, from 53.96 percent (August 2019) to 52.29 percent (September 2019). ROR for non-star hotels also fell 0.76 points, from 22.56 percent (August 2019) to 21.80 percent (September 2019).

The average length of stay (RLTM) at a star hotel (1.53 days), is longer than that at non-star hotels (1.18 days).
