Abstract

The total value of exports rose 29.41 percent from US $ 144.99 million (January 2020) to US $ 187.63 million (February 2020).

Mineral fuel exports rose 36.07 percent from US $ 92.36 million (January 2020) to US $ 125.67 million (February 2020), contributing up to 66.98 percent of total exports.

The main export share countries are Japan (US $ 71.60 million), China (US59.78 million), and India (US $ 30.66 million).

The value of export trade through loading ports in Kalimantan Tengah (US $ 46.01 million), far lower than through ports in other provinces (US $ 141.62 million)

Cumulatively, the total value of exports decreased by 25.62 percent from US $ 447.18 million (January-February 2019) to US $ 332.62 million (January-February 2020).

The total value of imports fell 33.82 percent from US $ 3.46 million (January 2020) to only US $ 2.29 million (February 2020). Cumulatively, imports also fell 67.71 percent from US $ 17.81 million (January-February 2019) to only US $ 5.75 million (January-February 2020).

The foreign trade balance has a surplus of US $ 185.33 million (February 2020) and US $ 326.86 million (January-February 2020).
